ACRAN's Basic
Battery Acid Spill Response Kit has been assembled to perform
three primary tasks:
- Acid absorption
- Neutralization
- Personnel protection
ACRAN's Basic
Battery Acid Spill Response Kit is composed of five individual
components so that it may be customized or augmented with extra components
to suit specific applications. Replenishment of used items is therefore
made easier and more cost efficient. The Basic Battery Acid Spill
Response Kit consists of the following:
The ACRAN Battery Acid Spill Response Kit is an
integral part of your battery room safety plan and compliance with
the requirements of OSHA 1910.120(g)(5), 1910.120(q)(2)(xi), 1910.178(g)(2),
1920.268(b)(2)(i), and 1926.441(a)(5,6,7).
To ensure that these materials are kept safe and
ready for use, ACRAN offers an *acid
resistant Storage Cabinet.
Disposal of used clean up materials and
other potentially hazardous solid waste is accomplished more securely
using one of ACRAN's UN certified, 20 gallon
Waste Disposal Drums.

designed for valve-regulated, lead-acid battery rooms and
are compliant with OSHA personnel safety requirements.
This kit provides:
- acid absorption
- neutralization
- personnel protection
Just what needed for small electrolyte spills and is sufficient
for 1 responder.
ACRAN offers a wide range of spill response kits for all
battery types and individual components can be tailored
to customer requirements and/or purchased individually for
replenishment purposes.
